Stellenbosch City Orchestra - Christmas Festival

Indulge in the magic of the season with “A Christmas Festival,” presented by the acclaimed Stellenbosch City Orchestra (SCO), the 10th and 11th of November at 19:30 in the enchanting Lourensford Wine Cellar. Masterfully conducted by Paul van Zuilenburg, and featuring the extraordinary talents of Janelle Visagie, Andre Terblanche, Devonecia Swart and Corneil Muller, this concert promises to take you on a resplendent journey through the ages.

From the timeless grace of Bach to the electrifying modern rhythms of Mannheim Steamroller, our repertoire spans centuries of Christmas tradition, encompassing everything in between. An added delight will be our interactive renditions of beloved Christmas hymns, where the audience is warmly invited to lend their voices to the festive atmosphere.

As part of the SCO’s commitment to community, we encourage each guest to bring along non-perishable food items to adorn our on-site Christmas tree. These will later be distributed by the Health Promotors in local townships, spreading the warmth and joy of Christmas beyond the concert hall.
