The Platter’s Wine Guide 2021 is out and we are proud to report that eleven of our wines have been awarded 4.5 stars. Confirmation that the estate’s unique terroir enables our talented and passionate winemaking team to produce a world class range of red, white and Cap Classique wines expressing the true essence of the land Lourensford’s vines call home.
Included is our flagship Chrysalis Red 2016 and Chrysalis White 2016 as well as the Merlot 2016, Shiraz-Mourvèdre-Viognier (SMV) 2017, Chardonnay 2019 and Viognier 2019 from the Lourensford Estate range.
Our ever-popular range of Cap Classique received yet another nod with the Brut 2015 and Cuvée 101 featuring.
Finally, The Dome range, which has developed a cult following over the years, has also excelled with the Merlot 2017, Cabernet-Sauvignon Merlot 2017 and Chardonnay 2019 all receiving 4.5 stars.
The Dome Pinot Noir 2019 and the Brut Rosé 2017 Cap Classique each received a 4-star rating.

The latest vintages of these wines are available to taste at our Wine Tasting Centre, which is now open Monday to Sunday from 9am to 5pm.
